bizWORKS (Pty) Ltd, is a company based in Durban, South Africa that has been formed by leading locally based Black Empowerment ICT companies, Data World and ImvoTech, in alliance with internationally based ICH Pty, with the aim of developing the opportunity of making Durban a first class venue for the outsourcing and co-sourcing of contact centre and BPO solutions. The proposed means is through a best-practice contact centre that services front-end interactive contracts and back-end data and process management operations, to external clients both locally and internationally for servicing their contact centre requirements.

bizWORKS focuses on the factors that generally influence the selection process:

ICT- Enabled and managed environments;
Experienced know-how relating to planning, implementation management and delivery;
Availability and cost of modern data / information management and telecommunications ; Convergent ICT;
Availability, cost, skills and reliability of local labour;
Capital expenditure, variable and fixed cost bases;
The availability of business support networks, National, Provincial and Local government incentives;
Professional representation and effective communication;
Integrated campaigns; everything from loyalty programmes to direct sales to collections, processing and continuous improvement and;
Data security, operational control and transparency for the client.

For bizWORKS, the objective is to deliver pilot programmes or proof-of-concept (feasibility) contracts to the International off shore sector and to South African organisations looking to relocate to Durban; in keeping with the eThekwini Municipality/DIPA Regional Economic Development Strategy.
